The leadership of IPOB, in a publication on Thursday December 17, 2020, says the Nigeria Military Defense Headquarters are planning to attack the newly floated Eastern Security Network (ESN).
"Reports coming from IPOB Intelligence had it that the Nigeria military Defence headquarters have just concluded plans to move in for war against Biafrans, they agreed to attack ESN, the newly launched security outfit that is formed to checkmate the menace of Fulani herdsmen, kidnapping and all other criminalities in old Eastern region"__IPOB Leadership
IPOB also accused the military of sponsoring Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen terrorism hence their bid to quench ESN
"Their plan is to attack ESN on ground and on air, meaning Nigeria military are truly the sponsors and members of Boko haram and Fulani herdsmen. Presently, soldiers from the southern regions and Christian soldiers are been redeployed to the northern part of Nigeria and the Boko haram soliders are deployed in the South."__IPOB Leadership said
It went on to advice people from the Eastern region to be at alert
