The president elect of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo have reacted to the recent open fire between the Nigerian police and members of Eastern Security Network in Orlu.
Yesterday 15th January, The members of ESN were reportedly attacked by the IMO state police in Orlu, after a short gun battle, the police left their hilux on the road and ran for safety.

George Obiozor while reacting to the development said he is following the development and promised his Administration will do anything to bring normalcy in the south East.
"I heard what happened, it is quite a sad development. I don't have much to say but with time we will find a lasting solution to the challenges we face In the Southeast" he said
He also pleaded with the Nigerian police and other consigned Agencies to handle the situation carefully to avoid escalation.
