Dear Igboho Sunday and Nnamdi Kanu.
I'm glad you guys got up to stand up and fight for the oppressed masses. What we need to free ourselves are your bravery and determination.
I'm not satisfied, though, with the current peace situation in the southern part of the country, especially in the state of Oyo. Last Friday, I condemned the assault on Seriki Fulani's house by an angry mob.
I'd like to say that the abduction, banditry, and killings that are taking place in Oyo are alarming, I condemned the actions. However, the ultimatum issued by Chief Sunday Igboho to the Fulani people doesn't sit well with me. While we must find a permanent solution to the crimes being committed in the area, we should go after the criminals and not their tribes.
Sending Fulani out of Yoruba land is not the solution to the problems, it will only create more problems for us as a country.
It is not the solution to the problems to send Fulani out of Yoruba land, it will only create more issues for us as a nation.
I've been married to a Fulani man for over 10 years, and I can confirm that they are people who love harmony. To crucify everyone, we can not use the sins of the bad eggs among them.
What would happen to the Igbos and Yorubas living in the North if we chase Fulani out of Yoruba land? My business and my husband are all in Sokoto. Where do you want me to go? I have three children.
To my brother in blood, Nnamdi Kanu, please let justice be tempered with mercy, let us not take the laws into our hands. Let the government mount pressure to bring murderous herdsmen to justice and not drive all herdsmen out of the land of Yoruba. Please consider us living in the North among the Fulani.
Igboho and Nnamdi Kanu, please surrender to the Government, the last thing needed in Nigeria now is a civil war. We're all unable to survive.
Please, Nnamdi Kanu, come back to Nigeria, apologize to President Muhammad Buhari, and let us continue to live in Nigeria peacefully as one.
Honest sister of yours
Abubakar' s Amaka.
An Igbo woman got married in Sokoto to a Fulani man.
__________
Having read this, JOURNAL REPORTERS wish to correct the false narrative that Kanu and Igboho are sending Fulani out. No.
* Fulani herdsmen were ordered to relocate from bushes or forests and rent dwelling in town like every well meaning citizen does.
* Recall that no Igbo or Yoruba lives inside the bush in northern region, hence the comparison is uncalled-for.
* The issue of being married to Fulani doesn't hold water when it patterns self determination; There are Igbos, Yoruba married to Chinese, Ghanaian etc.
The question remain:
Is Kanu and Igboho Asking Fulani herdsmen out of the towns or bushes?
Do you agree with the Igbo-Sokoto woman?

What do you admire in a fulani man to extent of getting married to him at the first place? My sister better divorce the idiot now before it is too late. You still have the chances of remarry to an igbo man or even a yeroba man. Fulanis are ment to leave like animals in the bush that's why they don't like development so they're not worthy to have somebody like you in there means. By the way who even collected the bride prix? Am sure your father did not collect any bride prix from a fulani man. Come back now or carry your cross
