The Novel Laureate, Chimamanda Adichie has finally cleared the air surrounding her last statement on Biafra agitation which enraged many Biafra agitators.

Chimamanda Adichie earlier said Igbo people need to rethink how they strategise politically before talking about Biafra independent.

"We need to do a lot of rethinking on how we strategise politically before we can talk about Biafra."_a part of her statement reads

This statement, however, spiked furore among many Biafrans, including the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, who deemed her utterances as unguided, saying the novel laureate spoke and acted like an "uneducated" fellow.

Chimamanda, in her weekly program "Read Along With Chimamanda", on Tuesday February 16, where she was reading Half of A Yellow Sun finally cleared the air.

A commenter asked her about Kainene that missed into tiny air and said Fashola should be contacted to look for her in the Biafra borders.

"I love my IPOB brothers and Biafra and I don't play with them, what I said about Biafra. What I really said was how we(Igbo) can tactically be active in politics not to spike my IPOB brothers or Biafra.".Chimamanda said
