Nobody Should Attack Southerners Living In The North, This Is 2021 And Not 1966__Bashir Tofa Warns Muslim Islamists
Recall there has been upheavals in different parts of the southern part of the country following the precipitated destruction of farmlands and criminal activities of the Fulani herdsmen, the ultimatum issued to Fulani Herdsmen to vacate the forests reserves over cases of rising insecurity.
An Oduduwa freedom fighter popularly known as Sunday Igboho and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who is the IPOB leader, have been at the forefront of making sure killer herdsmen don't have camping ground in the southwest and southeast respectively.
Some Fulani groups such as Fulani Nationalists Movement, Miyetti Allah etc had since then be beating drums of war.
An Elder Statesman and Nigerian Politician, Bashir Tofa has warned those beating drums of war to stop doing so for the benefit of the country.
According to the interview Bashir granted to This Days on Thursday, he warns that any form of revenge or attack on southerners in the north will be disastrous because this is 2021, not 1966.
"If revenge on Southerners begin in the North it will be difficult to control".Bashir said
He added, "If Northerners target southerners that live in the North there will be consequences. This is 2021 and NOT 1966.
