My Son-in-law, Uche Nwosu Clearly Won Imo State Governorship Election But Was Taken From Him By The Political Cabal's – Okorocha
The former governor of Imo state and a current senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria spoke with Arise news on December 27, 2021.
He said: ‘’the fact that Governor Hope Uzodinma may be behind the arrest of Uche Nwosu made the matter worst. Hope Uzodinma has said earlier that by January 3 2022, that he will announce the names of those behind the insecurity in Imo state. The police men were in hundred when they stormed the church’’.
He continued:’’ They have never invited Uche Nwosu for once. They came to adduct him not to arrest him, but they were recognized and busted. This is how they messed up the image of Nigeria. Where never we go we become the laughing-stock because of somebody like Hope Uzodinma. I am glad to announce that Uche Nwosu is not in police custody, he came out the same day. I do not know why the APC government does not want to look into what is happening in Imo state. They are treating Imo state as if it is not part of this country and its pains me. I was one of those who formed APC’’. Rochas said.
When asked how him and Hope Uzodinma can come together and work for the benefit of Imolites since they are both from the same party, APC. The Senator said: ‘’ don’t you ever use the word that we are in the same party. Hope Uzodinma has no base of comparism with me in any way in this life.
He didn’t win the election; the Supreme Court gave it to him. Uche Nwosu clearly won the election, but it was taken from him by the political cabals. If all these could happen to me, a former governor for 8 years and a seating senator, you could imagine what could happen to an ordinary citizen of this country. Upon everything that is happening, federal government is not doing anything. When I was the governor, people love Buhari in Imo state’’.
