Permit me to start by saying that nothing is new in the quest for freedom movement or struggle. Freedom struggle expectancy is like "death" which no human activities and actions today hadn't experienced or attested in history; Like today, someone had also died while eating, playing football on a field, running, sleeping, etc in the past.
Any encounter in contemporary freedom outfits such as Biafra Restoration is a repetition of history including the shocking news following the resignation of Uche Mefor the Ex deputy leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB). Biafrans anxiety shouldn't be swelled. Pope Benedict IX, in 1045 resigned. Pope Gregory VI, in 1046 resigned. Pope Celestine V, in 1294 resigned. Pope Gregory XII, in 1415 resigned. Proximately on 28th February 2013, Pope Benedict XVI resigned. All of these happened within the Catholic church to the growth of the church; Christianity did not ceased to exist.
However, in this article, I willl be analyzing multifaceted focal points behind Uche Mefor's resignation saga thus:
1. It Could Be IPOB Master Plan.
Understanding that IPOB, as a body with an impermeable organisational structural proclivity, has always presented plans which, directly or indirectly set the pace for political discuss in Nigeria is a good reason to weigh Uche Mefor's resignation saga beyond mere fall-out conclusion.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's and IPOB's grand plan seems incomprehensible, cryptic and unforeseen yet it positive after effects becomes obvious as Nigeria is seen going down to their soar. While the motion is still premature, people should not conclude that Uche Mefor has fallen out or decamped. Nigeria State and Her Government should be ready of any inconveniences even more so now Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has has maintained a level of silence in broadcasting.
2. It Could Be The Fulfillment Of The Prophecy.
Biafrans wider ideology, belief and understanding of the freedom movement spearheaded by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has maintained and unambiguously proclaimed that "BIAFRA IS OUR RELIGION" - A situation were they see, take and hold the Biafra Restoration Project above any and every other thing(s). Biafrans aesthetical and religious inclination of Biafra Restoration solely on Chukwu Okike Abiama (Almighty God) can not be overemphasized or jettisoned.
More so, there was this prophecy dated 16th March 2020 that "IPOB principal officer, someone closed to MNK will be overcomed by the enemies to work against him (MNK) wickedly if not tracked". See here👇👇👇
Be it as it may be, the prophecy had it that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is a prophet too and that God will reveal the person to him; still pondering if the change of Radio Biafra password against the knowledge of Uche Mefor is a sign that MNK detected and acted quickly - Mefor attested during his zoom meeting that the password was changed without his knowledge.
3. It Could Be A Trick By Uche Mefor To Instigate Biafrans Against Mazi Nnamdi Kanu And Cully Their Followership.
Man's heart is full of evil, the scripture adjured. Mazi Uche Mefor's article titled "THE AUDACIOUS PRINCIPLE OF OUR REVOLUTION IS STRICT ADHERENCE TO THE DEFENCE OF HUMAN RIGHTS, CIVIL LIBERTIES AND FREEDOM OF ALL", is a well calculated blackmail against the person of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, and on extention, IPOB.
However fictional or factual this assertion may be, it will be seriously difficult for Uche Mefor to accomplish such mission because:
* Majority, if not all Biafrans look up to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. They love him so much to the point of laying down their lives for him to live. They also believes that MNK is the only tested, trusted and enigmatic person, the scriptural Joshua to lead them into the promise land, Biafra Nation.
* Mazi Nnamdi Kanu surely has his unique way of reshuffling the IPOB organisational structure to prevent and/or withstand any/every form(s) of shock(s) from both external and internal spies and pressures either from Nigeria government or any of the decamped members especially when they are in the known of few of his plans. Remember the first wave of high ranking IPOB officers that decamped and how he reshuffled the organizational structure from COC (Coordinator of Coordinators) to DOS (Directorate of States) which made it difficult for those fallen officers to penetrate and blackmail IPOB from without.
* Uche Mefor lacks the charisma to Spearhead any freedom movement. He might have been significant under and within the system but surely not outside it.
4. A Confirmation That Biafrans Are Republican In Nature.
Going by Uche Mefor's post, he outlined some of his views which seems to be ignored or given less attention to, hence one of his basis of resigning. If he has the followership, which I know he do with the few that have also feigned at Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's approach, he is at best chances to lead his own group like others who started but gone into extinction or diminished after few months. However Uche Mefor's case might be different; He shouldn't be undermined or underrated hence he is in the known of the 2 out of 3 plans of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
Having highlighted the above analysis, and as a lover of freedom for my people- the Biafrans, my candid advice to Biafrans is that there is bound to be ups and downs, challenges, difficulties, misunderstanding etc that is why it is called a STRUGGLE; People are also bound to get tired, quit amidst tough roads that is why it is called a MOVEMENT. We shouldn't be deterred, demoralized or doubtful of the coming of Biafra for Biafra shall come through and from Mazi Nnamdi Kanu led IPOB Movement.
Be brave, be strong, be mentally stable for Biafra Restoration is inevitable.
