 Governor gives Katsina students goats as empowerment project

Governor Masari dished out goats for each female students in Katsina state to empower them and make the self-reliant.

 Students of Government Girls Arabic Secondary School, Dutsinma receiving their goats as part of his empowerment project in Katsina, the state governor, Aminu Masari has reportedly given out goats to female secondary school students. Commissioning the project on Saturday, November 11, at Government Girls Arabic Secondary School, Dutsinma, the state's commissioner for Education  Professor Halimatu Idris said the program is aimed at empowering students to be self-reliant. 

The commissioner further said that the empowerment program is part of the government's effort toward improving people's lives and development of education in the state. Idris also said that 20 secondary schools were selected from the state's three senatorial zones for the take-off of the programme.
