My client based in central London is looking to appoint an Occupational Health Advisor to join them on a permanent basis and to start asap. This is an exciting opportunity to join the companies central OH division and work in partnership to deliver great results. As an Occupational Health Advisor you will be a qualified RGN with a degree or the equivalent post registration qualification in Occupational Heath. This role will see you provide evidence based occupational health services to the staff across the organisation and make sure there is full adherence to clinical compliance and governance in accordance with all the relevant polices.

This role will see you:
*Providing comprehensive and confidential advice to all managers, HR and employees in regards to fitness for work.
*Manage and carry out a caseload dealing with, when necessary complex cases, and utilising time limited evidence based interventions for a wide range of both physical and mental health difficulties.
*To undertake occupational health screening/ health surveillance in accordance with health and safety legislation and interpret results and advise accordingly
*Produce updated reports on all cases as well as work on Occupational Health Service projects to support their successful delivery
*Maintain up to date, confidential and accurate electronic and hand written records regarding clinical activity
*To actively participate in clinical supervision and receive feedback following any clinical audit.

The successful candidate will ideally have the following:
*Registered General Nurse having a degree level (or equivalent) post registration qualification in Occupational Health (currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, Parts 1 & 3 (SCPHN OH).
*A successful track record of giving occupational health advice, guidance and support to managers and employees including complex cases
*Previous experience in undertaking safety critical medicals; including spirometry and audiometry
*Substantial OH knowledge including up to date knowledge of applicable legislation, best practice principles and regulatory requirements
*Professional, persuasive and influential. Able to command the confidence of senior operational managers, employees, trade unions, external partners and other stakeholders.
*Proficient in producing clear, legible concise and accurate case notes, letters and reports on OH issues.
In return your skills my client is offering a salary up to circa £42000 including a London weighting, a 35 hour working week, excellent pension (final salary!) and 28 day annual leave not including bank holidays so apply to day for immediate consideration.
