The inspector General of police, Mohammed Adamu, has urged the police officers to make use of their firearms whenever their lives are in danger.
The IGP, made this statements when addressing police officers in Abuja.
He said according to force order 237, which states that the forcemen has the right to make use of their firearms whenever their lives are threatened or in danger while discharging their lawful duties.
The IGP urged the officers to go out and discharge their duties without fear, but must be conscious of Protecting their lives with their firearms.
