Following the discrepancies, anger and displeasures of few people, especially those from eastern region, Nigeria, that the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu didn't discuss or seek way out with the governors on the need to establish any security outfit, while blaming Kanu for riding on the governors authority to launch Eastern Security Network (ESN),

IPOB has released a letter, dated March 15, 2020, it sent to the appropriate authorities - Governors and Houses of Assembly Members - to set up a security channel to avert escalating terrorism and jihadism in the region.

Prior to the IPOB letter to the authorities on the need to create a regional security, a lady, on her way back from Canada, was reportedly abducted, raped and butchered into pieces in Uli, Anambra State by the Fulani invaders under the guise of herdsmen with little or no security response from the Anambra state Governor, Willie Obiano

"I am therefore by this communication extending hands of fellowship to you, while inviting you to advert your minds to your obligations to live up to your constitutional duties and responsibilities in initiating laws and policies that will impact positively on our people, especially in regard to security of lives, property and protection of our borders against those that levy terror and Jihadist"_A part of the letter reads.

JOURNAL REPORTERS however gathered that the recipients never replied to IPOB's invitation, request or suggestion.
