The global Igbo body, World Igbo Congress (WIC) has charged the eastern governors to rally support for the Eastern Security Network (ESN), adding that "the safety of all is our".
WIC, in a statement released on its official Twitter Media handle 'WIC Media Action Group' on Friday, told the governors that endorsing ESN is their chance to get on board.
It also reminded the first citizens of the eastern states that it will only take them eight years in office but homeland is forever.
According to the succinct words on the WIC statement, it reads: "This is your chance to get on board, ESN. 8 year tenure is all you can get but homeland is FOREVER. The safety of all is our interest."

ESN is a child of necessity; a replica of Amotekun in the West, Hisbah in the North; a regional security outfit floated by the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to safeguard the forest and bushes of eastern region from criminal Fulani herdsmen.
Nnamdi Kanu, beholding the spate of terrorism, the influx scale of alien Fulani herdsmen responsible for pillaging, kidnapping, raping and causing mayhem to people in the region with no security response from the executive governors despite prior notification, launched ESN on December 12, 2020.
The governors have said they are not in support of ESN owing to the claim Kanu did not informed or carried them along.
Kanu, through his private lawyer Aloy Ejimakor, has published a declassified letter, signaling he gave the governors prior notice on the need to establish security outfit.
ESN, following its effective work in the region, has earned majority support from Ndigbo amongst respectable Igbo organizations such as Alaigbo Development Foundation (ADF), WIC, Nzuko Umunna etc
