The combination of Nigeria Forces, Army and Police, have reportedly abducted a member of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Elder Egbe Nwanini.
According to Ebonyi State Chapter, BTV Reporters, the combined security team forcefully invaded the home of Elder Egbe, one of the Abakaliki province IPOB Elders, in Izzi LGA of the state and abducted him on the early hours of Friday, January 22nd 2021.
"As at the time of this report, no reason was however ascertained for his illegal arrest and his whereabout still unknown as they took him to an unimaginable location."BTV reporters said.
JOURNAL REPORTERS gathered from local sources that Elder Nwamini is a close community neighbor to the (suspected) speaker Ebonyi state House Of Assembly, Hon. Ogbonna Nwifuru, who is a loyalist of the state governor Engr. Dave Umahi that has ordered for the clampdown of IPOB family members in the state for commiting no crime.
