The United States President-elect, Joe Biden, on Wednesday January 20, has nominated Pete Buttigieg, a gay man whom he boasted of a "cabinet of barrier breakers", to be a member of his cabinet.
Pete Buttigieg, if confirmed, would become the first openly gay Head of a Cabinet-level department in America history.
Biden had also described Buttigieg as a "policy wonk with a big heart".
Pete has also appreciated the president for trusting him with the nomination
"I want to thank President Biden for trusting me with this nomination and also use this opportunity to introduce my husband Charles"__Pete said
