The global Igbo body popularly known as World Igbo Congress, WIC, has reiterated their commitment in ensuring that the newly established Eastern Security Network gets the necessary support to secure the eastern region from Fulani terrorists herdsmen.
WIC, on Saturday, held a virtual meeting with Igbo leaders from all over the world where a resolution with the harsh tag "IgbosupportESN" was reached and adopted.
In a short statement published, on Sunday by WIC Media Action Group, it stated "Our lives depends on it and the support is growing!"
Amongst many other resolutions by WIC is the clarification that ESN has Igbo mandate to secure eastern region and as such nobody should confront or harass them
"ESN henceforth, has Igbo mandate to secure our hinterland, bushes and waterways. Govt must stop confrontations or any harassment."_WIC said
