Every Oppressed Northern Christians Will Be Granted Political Asylum In A Free Biafra Nation–Nnamdi Kanu Assures Bishop Kukah

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu says every oppressed Northern Christians in Nigeria will be granted a place to settle in a free Biafra nation. 

Kanu gave the assurance in a statement released by IPOB National Media and Publicity Secretary, Comrade Emma Powerful, following the unknown fear of the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto, Matthew Kukah who pleaded that Nigeria be retained as one entity as calls for Biafra and Oduduwa freedom gain momentum. He said, "nobody will benefit from the breakup of Nigeria".

Although the Bishop has been outspoken in criticising bad governance in the country, many analysts have faulted the recent statement of keeping Nigeria as one, credited to Bishop Kukah as an offshoot of Kukah's Christmas message where he called Buhari a nepotistic leader and the urgent need to make amends following threats by some Muslim forums who told Kukah to tender unreserved apology to Buhari or leave the seat of the Caliphate, Sokoto, quietly and quickly.

Speaking also in a radio Biafra broadcast on Monday evening, the IPOB Leader reassured and beckoned on Bishop Kukah and every endangered Christians in the northern part of Nigeria to shed every shreds of fear, noting that Biafra will guarantee their safety by granting each and everyone of them seeking political asylum.

Parts of the statement by IPOB regarding the promises to northern Christians state: "We the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, want to inform Christian communities in Northern Nigeria that they have nothing to worry about in a disintegrated Nigeria. 

"Our leader made this solemn pledge during his live broadcast on March 8, 2021 during which he also assured them that they will be granted automatic settlement rights in the new Biafra when Nigeria finally implodes as every other failed state before it has done.

"Biafra will not allow Northern Christians who are currently at the mercy of marauding Fulani Islamic terrorists to be roasted by the Janjaweed Sharia North that are eager to decimate indigenous communities of Northern Nigeria. 

"Our leader has assured them under divine oath that any Northern Christian willing to live in Biafra land can come and settle. Northern Christians shall be granted political asylum in Nigeria to pursue their legitimate careers."
