The executive governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi has lamented over the recent killing of atleast 15 people by suspected Fulani herdsmen.

Information has it that suspected Fulani herdsmen attacked Egedegede community in the Ishielu Local Government Area of the state and killed atleast 15 people in one of the most gruesome attacks on the people of Ebonyi State.
Governor Dave Umahi who visited the community lamented that the Fulani herdsmen could still go on to kill the people of Ebonyi State despite all he has done to protect them in the state.
He said that from the information he got that the Fulani herdsmen came with AK47 and killed atleast 15 people.
Governor Umahi is one of the South-East Governors who have been trying to build the gap between farmers in Fulani herdsmen in the region.
