"We Need Security In The Southeast" – Chief Uwazurike Makes Reverse, Begs Eastern Governors To Take ESN From Nnamdi Kanu

The leader and founder of Movement for Actualisation of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) and Biafra Independent Movement (BIM), christened BIM-MASSOB, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike has begged Southeast governors to take over the Eastern Security Network, ESN, floated by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu - leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra.

Contrary to his initial stance on the establishment of security outfit, Uwazuruike acknowledged this time around that the region needs security outfit.

Recall that Ralph Uwazurike, at the heat of Fulani herdsmen menaces in the Southeast region and prior to the creation of ESN, had kicked against the establishment of any security outfit in the region, insisted that Amotekun (in the west) and Hisbah (in the north) can serve the security challenges.

Kanu, out of love for his people and the urgent need to protect the region from alien Fulani terrorists masquerading as cattle rearers, floated ESN on December 12, 2020.

At a press conference in Owerri, Uwazurike makes reverse by acknowledging that the zone needed a security outfit, just like other zones, to tackle its internal security challenges 

Uwazurike apparently unhappy with Kanu, whom he claimed was responsible for violent crisis in some parts of the South East and South South, however eckoned with ESN but pleaded with the governors to take ESN from Kanu and profile it. 

He said, “South East governors should take the ESN from Kanu, we need security in South East; equip and train them so that they will be responsive to the government. I urge the governors to take the ESN from him and profile it.

"He should stop this anarchy in the South East; he is responsible for the deaths in Obigbo, Enugu and Orlu. He stays in far away in America and incite people to cause trouble. Are we living in a state of anarchy, he wants the military to kill us when he is in America with his family enjoying," Uwazuruike said.
