PHOTO NEWS: Nigerian Police Hire Vigilante To Protect Them, Police Station From Unknown Gunmen In Elele, Rivers State
According to the pictures made available to JournalReporters at the early hours of Friday, it captured no fewer than seven (7) members of the vigilante group mounting guard at the entrance and environs of the Police Station in Elele
It was gathered that the Nigerian Police in Elele, Rivers State hired some local vigilantes to protect them and the police station from unknown gunmen attack.
Recall that a yet-to-be identified group of gunmen had been attacking, of recent, security agents and security facilities in the southeast and southsouth areas of Nigeria.
These numerous attacks, howbeit, had been applauded by the hapless citizens who staunchly believed the gunmen are Messengers from God to avenge the wanton killingy of innocent civilians by Nigerian security apparatus.
JournalReporters learnt that the Police Stations now close at 4pm for security reasons in some part of the South
