The leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu had briefly, in one of his previous broadcasts on Radio Biafra, explained how he suffered and was humiliated in the assemble of his detractors and traducers in other to quell his resolve for Biafra agitation.
While elucidating his encounters in other to prepare his people, for future challenges, what being a Biafran connotes; He said,
"You do not know what it means, most of us do not understand what it means to be a Biafran, you have not seen anything yet.
I was kidnapped, I was beaten, my clothes was ripped from my body, women urinated and poured it on me, because of Biafra. They did this to humiliate me to such a point that I will not talk about Biafra again".__Mazi Nnamdi Kanu
Going further he alleged that the sister group, MASSOB masterminded and took videos of him amidst those nostalgic period. Listen to him,
"They took videos of me, MASSOB has those videos of me where they were beaten me dragging me on the floor tearing my clothes because I spoke the truth".__Mazi Nnamdi Kanu
The IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was heard encouraging and admonishing his people, the Biafran people to remain resolute, uncompromising in preaching and fighting for Biafra thus:
Despite the humiliation, that did not stop me from talking about Biafra, it did not stop me from taking radio Biafra to Enugu, it did not stop me from broadcasting radio Biafra from Nnewi, it did not stop me broadcasting radio Biafra from Onitsha, Owerri, Aba, Port Harcourt.
I am resolute I don't retreat. Never! Nigeria has put me in detention before- solitary confinement, it did not stop me from preaching Biafra".__Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
Having adjured Biafrans, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu questioned how those he, derogatorily, described as "imbecile" can affect his stance on Biafra,
If those that kidnapped me and nearly killed me could not stop me from preaching Biafra, how about an imbecile hiding somewhere talking? How can that affect me?
People must know who I am, I am destructively stubborn! You see this Biafra? It's going to come"__Mazi Nnamdi Kanu reassured
