Following the News feed by one Useni Yusuf at AJ Press that the abducted auxiliary archbishop of Owerri, Moses Chikwe has been killed and head chopped off from his body, the Catholic Archdiocese of Owerri, however, has issued a disclaimer on the abductee.
In a press release made available to the public, on Tuesday December 29, 2020, the Catholic Archdiocese of Owerri described the news as misleading, unconfirmed and not coming from its desk.
The Owerri Archdiocese, however, appeal that all join archbishop in prayers for quick and safe release of Bishop Chikwe and Mrs Ndubuisi Robert, his driver.
