Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Separatists movement in Nigeria- Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), is well known for his salutational and goodwill message to any reasonable and conscientious individual who, without compromise, speaks the truth.
Amongst the beneficiary of his (Kanu) profound appreciation is Bishop Hassan Kukah, the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto, who has consistently condemn the tyrant regime of General Mohammed Buhari of Nigeria.
Kanu, while emphasizing the reasons for people to support the newly floated Eastern Security Network citing the report by the Executive Governor of Oyo State that terrorists are flooding his state through Oke-Ogun area, pounded on Nigeria Media and journalists for making mess of themselves over the Christmas message of Bishop Kukah.
He said: "It beats my imagination that a journalists who claims to be ethically objective would publish trashy press statements from inconsequential attention seeking elements who are in the pay of agents neo-colonialists in order to justify why Nigeria must be kept as one.
"Look at the mess the Nigeria media is making of themselves over the Christmas message of Bishop Hassan Kukah. Then I remembered how Britain recruited and used black West Africans in the Gold Coast- present day Ghana to conquer, enslave and colonise other black West Africans in Nigeria and Cameroons. Do you know the same Fulani tribe that are killing you today in Nigeria once worked as slave catchers for their Arab masters? The same way they are working for British neo-colonialists today."
Going further, Kanu also cited the true story of how few Japanese resisted the European imperialists, questioning if black people were created ostensibly to help the enemies of black people to conquer their fellow black people.
"Some black people it seems were created ostensibly to help the enemies of black people to conquer their fellow black people. Very shamefully most of us do not understand this simple game plan.
"Ask yourself this question, how come tiny Japan was able to resist the might of European imperialistic conquest yet in black Africa, an army of less than 5,000 white Europeans conquered over 20,000,000 black people? The answer is very simple, white Europeans used black Africans to conquer fellow blacks. Until we start getting rid of these Efulefus, this journey to true emancipation will remain tortuous."
The IPOB leader, therefore, maintained that the reality of the report by Oyo governor on terrorists influx in Oyo State is enough reason for any sensible person to support ESN
