From our findings so far, Eastern Security Network (ESN) was birthed out of necessity- the inescapable desire to protect the lives and properties of people in the Eastern region, Nigeria from Fulani invaders under the guise of cattle rearers. Prior to the launch of ESN, there was apparently a spate scale of terror, rape, kidnap and killings perpetrated by those Fulani invaders with little or no security response from the Eastern Governors and government of the day, General Mohammed Buhari.

Out of love for his people, in the spirit of humanity, the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), a Separatists Movement in Nigeria, the person of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu floated ESN to safeguard the region; a decision in agreement with an internationally recognized law - SELF DEFENCE.

It is important to note that "No nation on earth thrives without laid down rules or, Constitution". A nation's Constitution is, indisputably, SUPERIOR to every other individuals, religious beliefs, institutions within it confides. The ability to interpret, understand and implement the statutes, in the Constitution, is what defines, magnifies and differentiates civilized, democratic nations from uncivilized, undemocratic nations.

Self Defence is an inalienable right of any person, race or nation against oppressive and terrorism affiliated regime as being upholds under the International and Common laws, UN Charters of 2007, and, most conceivably, Nigeria Constitution.

It is, therefore, surprising beholding ignorance and negligence of the inalienable and Constitutional rights of [Self Defence] by the government of Nigeria, a supposedly Democratic State, under a signed treaty with [US, UN] to uphold and discharge effectively the right to SELF DETERMINATION.

In Nigeria, SELF DEFENCE is LEGAL. Sec. 59, Penal Code states: “Nothing is an offence of which is done in the lawful exercise of the right of private defence”. Sec 32, Criminal Code states ‘It is not a crime to RESIST actual & unlawful violence‘

It is therefore case closed on any form of attack on the floated ESN. Are there not Amotekun in the West, Hisbah and Police JTP in the North floated for same purposes of self defence?

Why should the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi, place a bounty on ESN? Why would the HQ Nigeria Army order shoot at sight at any perceived ESN personnel? Why would some sections of the Nigeria media launch an orchestrated campaign of calumny to demonise ESN? Whereas Amotekun, Hisbah operate unflinchingly, undisturbed and with the back up of every Nigerian. Why?

Nigeria Government and their agents must trade with caution, understand that they are dealing with globally, intellectually and robust mass movement, IPOB. So far, any move IPOB make is always backed by the LAW. Take a look at some of these headlines emanating from Ebonyi State over the years, isn't it justification and validation enough for the existence of ESN?

Any sane and conscientious individual should encourage, support and back ESN, including the Eastern Governors and Nigeria Government unless there is a cockroach in their cupboard.

JR News Stand to defend the truth all over the globe.
