During the weekly broadcast of Radio Biafra on Sunday 30th day of August, the leader of IPOB Mazi Nnamdi Kanu explained the reason why Biafrans should be proud to identify with their brothers and relatives, the Israeli. In his words, he explained thus,
When the British came to Biafra land ( exactly the replica of what happened in Jerusalem ), they said to us - You Have No History. By saying that it means that you have no relatives, and if you have no relatives, believe you me, you are in a very serious trouble because,
"There is a saying where we come from when somebody want to abuse or curse you they will say "Ya koo gi ma kookwara onye ga-emere gi". This means you will live in want and those who are suppose to come to help you will not have anything either to come to help you with or to come to your rescue.
He continued,
"While we are busy trying to distance ourselves away from Israel and the Ibrahamic Great family, meanwhile nobody is stopping the Fulani from trying to assume that they are Arabs. Nobody! And in so doing they (Fulani) managed to get the help of every Arab nations you have on earth right now lobbying and working for them.
"The Fulani have their relatives using their religion, they pledged subservient to the Arab world and they are getting the necessary help from their relatives. This is how f**lish we are, we do not reason. You need relatives or else you perish alone in ignorance. -Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, 30th August, 2020.
