"......And the sin of one man led to the suffering of mankind".
The above clause from the scripture always leave me in contemplation and interrogation;
What on earth was really the challenges of Adam? He was placed in the Garden of Eden where everything abound, God provided him with everything and even a help mate. He was in control of all other creatures great and small to the extent he was the one who gave them names. What on earth did God not provide him with as at then?
Was he satisfied?
This is the question that if truly ascertained will give hint as to why Adam ate the forbidden tree. Inordinate ambition of Adam and Eve - waiting to know and have everything, is the genesis of our suffering as human.
As Adam and Eve brought suffering to humanity, so did Zik brought suffering on his people, the Biafrans; Zik wanted to be famous, he was driven by his ambition to rule Nigeria, he wanted to be the Zik of Africa and so he was blinded to understand the impeding catastrophe behind his selfish personal ambitions.
If you haven't been scammed or have hint of the mood people were before they were scammed, then you may likely find it difficult to understand the term "Inordinate wish". Apart from the fact that too much trust contribute but ninety percentage of victims are driven by their selfish ambition to be rich overnight.
At that time, many dignitaries warned, counselled and admonished Zik to jettison one Nigeria, Ojike Mbonu was one of them but Zik was obsessed by his inordinate ambition.
Because of his inactions, the generations of Biafrans are suffering and dying in the hands of their traducers and detractors
