Fulani Crisis: Isu Community Passes Law That Bans Indigenes From Buying, Selling Cow Meat

The Isu Okoma Community, in Onicha local government area of Ebonyi state, has passed a communal law prohibiting indigenous occupants from any form of trading that connotes Fulani cow meat.

Journal Reporters gathered that the entire indigenes of Isu community reached a consensus that nobody should buy or sell Fulani cow meat, following the death of late Oluchukwu, an indigene, who was killed by killer herdsmen whilst returning from farm on Tuesday February 2nd.

It was learnt that the communal agreement was also a step to help and augment the marvelous works of Eastern Security Network, ESN, and IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in tackling Fulani terrorists mayhem, in the eastern region of Nigeria.

The law, however, is not binding on non indigenes who are dealing in cow meat business

"The battle against the terrorists in the whole of Biafra land is a continuous process till the battle is won, ESN and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu need assistances to wage and win the war against the terrorists in Biafra land."_Ogeh Friday Igiri, a conservative BTV reporter disclosed.

The enforcement of the law took effect on Sunday February 14, as the whole cow meat butchering joint was emptied.
