Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has accused the mainstream media houses, news agencies in Nigeria of being one of the set back of Nigeria.
Kanu, who spoke during his radio Biafra broadcast on Thursday February 4th, explained that the inability of the Yoruba journalists, who control the media in Nigeria, to carry the people along by publishing the truth about Fulani destructive tendencies left Nigerians in disarray to understand the antics of the Fulani hegemony, giving the Fulani impetus to do what they do.
"One of the set backs of Nigeria is Yoruba journalism, I say it openly. Yoruba journalism is evil and wicked"._Kanu said
He added: "It sounds bizzare, the people that could have educated everybody to understand the dangers of janjaweedism in Nigeria is the Yoruba journalists, they control the media. Yoruba journalists, repent! Because you people are the ones giving Miyetti Allah, the Fulani the impetus to do what they are doing because you have failed to publish the truth".
Speaking about his ordeal with the Nigerian military invasion of his hometown; the young man – late Oluchukwu – who was recently killed by Fulani herdsmen on Tuesday February 2, in Isu, Onicha LGA of Ebonyi and; the eulogizing of Sunday Igboho, a Yoruba agitator, the IPOB leader queried why the media will always demonize or turn a blind eye, deaf ear to the plight of other people who are not of Yoruba accents or origin.

"Unless that thing affects a Yoruba person, they will never write about it. The height of wickedness. I don't know if they want the entire Biafrans to be wiped totally from the face of the earth, so that they can share our land with Fulani, I have no idea.
"Yoruba journalism, I don't know what got into them, very wicked and evil people. Yoruba journalists saw the video of the storming into my house, they saw the bodies of young men on the ground, the carcass of my dog on the ground and went back to proscribe us. People that you came to their house and attacked then you went back and labelled them terrorists, whereas you are the ones who are the terrorists."_Kanu added
"After that incident, that is when I hated black people to be honest with you. Black people all over the world are poor because of their wickedness, there is a brand of wickedness in them that you can not fathom.
"I speak to the Yoruba journalists, they are evil, they are beyond evil. Look at the way they are celebrating their own, selling him, marketing him because he is their own"._Kanu said
He continued: "Today, as you are busy transporting your wickedness to the East, Fulani was coming in and taking your land in Oyo, Ondo and Ekiti."_Kanu stated
"Somebody is in the bush raping my mother, cutting my sister into pieces, taking my land and destroying my crops, then I ask you a very simple question, how can I defend myself?
"He has AK 47. You say I should go and protest, I should write to EU, but when I wrote, EU did not reply. I come out to protest, the same Fulani in the army and in the police will shoot me down. So what do you expect me to do under such circumstances? It is a very simple question, but they can not answer me.
"Miyetti Allah, when they come to the editors and your offices be it "This Day" in Abuja, once they see Alhaji, you are shaking. But once they see IPOB, you say they should be proscribed. What did IPOB do that you are proscribing them?
"We are your concern because Britain has said to Fulanis that the only obstacle on your march to the sea is the East. That is where your problem lies, not with the West, so kill them, arrest them, subdue them. Britain said we are here, but nobody will take your case to ICC.
"Once you go to the East and you get them, then the West will fall. But they never knew how resilient we were. The very day they came to my house to kill me and I survived, they knew they were in trouble. The native doctor doing "jars" for them told them that they are finished. You went to his house and you couldn't kill him, then that is the end."_Kanu noted
Adverting to #EndSARS protest and why it failed Kanu asserted: "EndSARS protest failed because Yoruba journalists could not stand for Nnamdi Kanu to lead the opposition against the evil estate. After all EndSARS was almost dead before I went on air and started gingering people up and that is when people started following in.
"And instead of Yoruba journalists to say allow this man to lead the revolution, but no, they said 'he is an Igbo man oo, Biafra, (mbah, mbah, mbah). Instead of Nnamdi Kanu to lead EndSARS and bring Nigeria down, it's better for all of us to be suffering. And after that, two or three months, Fulani was in their forest, raping and killing. Do you understand it? Evil begets evil!
