The leader of the global, largest mass movement, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu of the Indigenous People of Biafra has "condemned in strongest terms" the arrest of three Amotekun officials by the Nigerian Police, in Oyo state, over an alleged plot to set ablaze the outlawed Fulani settlements in the state's forest reserves.

The Nigerian police, on Saturday, confirmed it arrested three Amotekun operatives over a call from one Alhaji Oroji, claiming operatives of Amotekun plan to burn down outlawed Fulani settlements in the states forest reserves and, unruly manners displayed by the officials in the station.

Kanu stated the "unexpected" arrest of the western security operatives by Nigerian Police is an indication that Fulani terrorists have taken huge sizeable chunks of Yoruba land.

Speaking also on the degraded weaponry used by Amotekun in combating a sophisticated Fulani terrorists with AK-47 machines, the IPOB leader asserted that Amotekun is either a misnomer or has been reduced to political aggrandizement.

Consequently, he seized the opportunity to call upon the Yoruba nationalist movement, Odua People's Congress (OPC) to rise, emulating Eastern Security Network, and defend the Yoruba land from Fulani terrorists.

According to him, "THIS is beyond a joke! Is this the same Yoruba Amotekun or some other outfit? Arresting #Amotekun operatives means that #Fulani terrorists have succeeded in taking over huge chunks of Yoruba land.

"OPC where are thou?"

"Amotekun has been politicalised. What a shame! How can Amotekun with Pump Action/Dane Gun engage the 4th most dangerous terror group in the world that has sophisticated weapons like AK-47?
