Nnamdi Kanu Reacts Over The Latest Deployment Of British Military Experts In Nigeria To Assist Nigerian Army
The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has reacted to the latest event surrounding the deployment of British Military Advisers to Nigeria, apparently to profer solution geared to keep Nigeria as one entity through coercion.
The UK Ambassador to Nigeria, Catriona Laing on Monday, in a tweet received and announced the visitation of British Armed Forces Minister, Heappey to Nigeria.
"Great to have our Armed Forces Minister @JSHeappey here today. His visit here demonstrates how important & how much we value our defence relationship with #Nigeria. I'm looking forward to his engagements with senior members of @HQNigerianArmy & @NigeriaGov over the next few days."_Laing tweeted
Despite several calls by many Nigerians for a restructured Nigeria and agitations by separatists movements, the British government has continued to deploy it's military Advisers to assist in quelling the people's wish via lethal force.
The recent development is one, out of the many times the British government is deploying it's military experts in Nigeria. The penultimate deployment was during the #EndSARS protest last year, 2020.
Reacting to the latest military deployment, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who is the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, took to his authentic Twitter handle to query why the British government is hell-bent in forcefully keeping Nigeria as one entity against the collective wish and aspirations of the people, ethnicities therein Nigeria.
He tweeted, "Dear @UKinNigeria, where was this strategic partnership all these years of #Fulani terrorism & banditry? Now we ethnic nationalities, welded together in your unworkable slave colony, have decided to be free, you are sending British military advisers to forcibly keep Nigeria one."
