Amalgamation Report: Biafrans Have Enough Evidences To Win British Government But There's Only One Challenge – IPOB-Special Representative, Carol Munday
A Briton, Human Rights Activist/Journalist, Carol Munday has said the entity, Nigeria, was and is still a business enterprise of the British government, noting that "the Amalgamation isn't a treaty where anyone sat down and signed one day".
She further stated that "the British had signed protectorate (protection) agreements with Kingdoms via the Royal Niger Company which the British Govt paid George Goldie and his partners £895,000 for when they brought the company".
Mrs Carol Munday, who is also a Special Representative of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, based in Guildford, UK, stated that there are enough evidences that Nigeria's Amalgamation wasn't the consensus or signatory of the aboriginal ethnicities that makeup today's Nigeria.
She disclosed this on Thursday, in a post on her official Facebook account while replying the directives of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, during yesterday radio Biafra broadcast, for her to publish the Amalgamation Report for public consumption.
She wrote, "Nnamdi Kanu, the full Nigeria🇳🇬 AMALGAMATION REPORT for people is immensely long, it's very detailed. I will transfer from its paper copy to file so it can be shared in its entirety and publish clips including articles that were deemed highly confidential at the time. I heard you I'm on my way bear with me!"
She continued, "Its worth noting the Amalgamation isn't a treaty where anyone sat down and signed one day, the British had signed protectorate (protection) agreements with Kingdoms via the Royal Niger Company which the British Govt paid George Goldie and his partners £895,000 for when they brought the company."
"The Amalgamation report basically (the way I see it) reads like a financials audit. The Giant of Africa was and still is, a business enterprise."_Carol added
Carol Munday's statement has gained lots of reactions on Facebook social media platform. However, Journal Reporters captured the screenshot of a man, Afam Clifford who asked a pertinent question thus: "But let me ask, since this evidence abounds, can't we fight it out in court and nullify the union? If possible let's go to court and still be doing our agitation!! We need to add pressure on all front, hit and heat them to submission."
Reacting to Afam's question, Carol noted that it will take IPOB huge financial wherewithal to pursue and probably win the case against British government in her own court, but at the detrimental expense of other pressing needs back home.
"Afam Clifford, We are ready there is a good case I worked on it with the lawyers, but it takes millions and millions of pounds to fight Britain in British courts as much as we want to continue doing it now now now, we can not in all honesty spend millions on a case we may not win while money is still needed for essentials on the ground."_Carol replied
Journal Reporters had earlier reported how the family members of IPOB residents in all over 120 countries have been financing and supporting the newly floated Eastern Security Network, ESN, towards ensuring that the forests and bushes of Biafra territory – Eastern region of Nigeria – is free from Fulani terrorist herdsmen attacks.
"It will be a misplaced priority to channel such amount of money to begin a case you're not even sure of winning hence we're fighting British government in her own court"_a source told Journal Reporters
