The former member of Nigeria senate, Shehu Sani has urged the Presidency to address the issue of the Secessionists in southern Nigeria.
He flagged against the idea of breaking away from the country in which he urged the group to stay away from what it can caused war, but the federal government to look into their demand and do the needful.

He said the people that are demanding Successions are too many than they have ever been, he talked to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra Nnamdi Kanu and Asari Dokubo who publicly declared the Biafra Nation.
He also talked about the Yoruba leader Banjo Akintoye who claimed to have written a letter to the British council and Sunday Adeyemo Igboho who also declared the Yoruba state not to be part of Nigeria anymore.
