"Government should come and rescue us." One of the abductee was seen begging

Journal Reporters, at the wee hour of Friday March 12, had reported the current banditry attack on Federal College of Forestry And Mechanization, Mando in Kaduna State, where scores of students were abducted.

Consequently, the Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufai, same day, on his Official Facebook handle, had issued an official statement, claiming the Nigerian troops intercepted the bandits and and rescued about 180 of the students.

"Troops of the Nigerian Army in the early hours of today, Friday, 12th March 2021 rescued 180 citizens, many of them students, at the Federal College of Forestry Mechanization, Afaka, Igabi local government area of Kaduna State."_a part of the statement reads.

However, the video made available to Journal Reporters showed the abducted students pleading that the government should come and rescue them.
