The prominent and famous socio cultural activist, Mr Gani Adams has stressed that he main concerns are the traitors within the Yoruba ethnic group not the Fulani herdsmen that only came to rear cows in their communities. Mr Gani Adams stated this when he honoured the invitation for a meeting with south western leaders and other personalities.

Mr Gani Adams also laid his concerns over the incessant reports of insecurity in the region and tasked on the government to immediately dislodge all remnants of criminal elements operating in the south western forests, and be brought to face the full wrath of law.

Mr Gani Adams used the opportunity to talked about his contribution to the provision of security in the region. He said that when the attacks on Yorubas became unbearable, he mobilised some boys from the Oduduwa People's Congress (OPC) that went into the forest and make arrest of the criminals terrorising the region.

Some of the arrested persons include Alhaji Iskilu Wakilu, who is alleged to be be mastermind behind success attacks on Yoruba community. The OPC members have already handed him over to the police for proper investigation. Mr Wakilu was already charged to court for robbery, murder, kidnapping and other crimes.

Mr Gani Adams also used the opportunity to call on Southwestern governors to maximize their efforts in protecting the lives and properties of people in the southern region of the country.
