The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has paid a very special tribute to the (Late) Afenifere Spokesperson, Yinka Odumakin, whose death has been publicised as one correlated with COVID-19.

Late Yinka died on Saturday, April 3rd, few days after castigating Bola Ahmed Tinubu over his birthday age saga but there have been wide reportages by the Nigerian media alleging the deceased suffered and dead from COVID-19 pestilence, howbeit to the contradictions of  Mrs Yinka, who maintains the husband had recovered from or tested negative of the coronavirus long before his death.

Reacting to the widespread publicity alluding to the claim that Odumakin's death was correlated with COVID-19, Nnamdi Kanu, in a radio Biafra broadcast on Sunday, described such reports as 'conspiracy theory', added that it is shocking to hear that someone with fine health, and tested negative to coronavirus, would die from COVID-19 pestilence.

"I do not personally subscribe to conspiracy theory but I find it rather shocking that a young man who is in very fine health would woke up to COVID-19, as they claimed, a few days after castigating Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is a murderer, a mass murderer, a killer. I hope and pray that their hand is not in it." Kanu said

IPOB boss, however, declared that the quest to liberate the poor masses, as fought by Yinka, will continue unhindered until victory is assured, history will forever be kind to Yinka's memory

"And wherever Yinka Odumakin is, I Know that he's in heaven, I know he'll be watching on and asking us to continue what we're doing. And we cannot stop

"Collectively, I can assure him, on behalf of IPOB families all over the world, that this very quest to liberate the poor masses will continue unhindered until victory is assured that we may dedicate it to men like him

"Yinka Odumakin was a fine gentleman, a man of virtue, a man of courage – very rare courage I must say, and valor. May his soul rest in peace" Kanu said
