IPOB Leader Kanu Pays Special Tribute To Afenifere Spokesperson, Yinka Odumakin As He Passed On To The World Beyond
The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has offered a special tribute to the deceased, Afenifere Spokesperson, Yinka Odumakin, whose was alleged by Nigerian media to had passed on from contracting the novel coronavirus, at the contradiction of Yinka's family's dispositions.
Yinka's wife hold her stand that the husband had recovered from or, tested negative to COVID-19 long before his yet-to-reveal cause behind his death
Kanu, who took out time to speak on/about Yinka's personality during his radio Biafra broadcast on Sunday, stated that the deceased was a consistent fighter and defender of the poor.
He said, "This evening, before I go on to preach, I want to pay a very special tribute to my very good friend and brother, a man that I use to rely upon, or should I say call upon in term of need, a man that I grew very fond with, a man that I respect, a man of unimpeachable integrity."
"I Know people use that phrase to describe some people in the z** called Nigeria but this man was a very great man not known to very many people but I can assure you he was a gentleman, he was very eloquent, very fluid, he was blessed immensely but sadly he passed on to the world beyond a few days ago
"I pay tribute to my friend, Yinka Odumakin, the spokesperson of Afenifere. He was a very consistent fighter and defender of the poor and the masses. He was the conscience of Yoruba land because he never waver, not one minute, very consistent.

Speaking on the causative factor behind Yinka's death, Kanu stated that he doesn't subscribe to the claim that the deceased died from COVID-19 because he (Yinka) was with fine health before his death, asserted that Yinka's death wouldn't be far from his criticism of APC Chairperson, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whom he (Kanu) accused of being a murderer, a killer.
"I do not personally subscribe to conspiracy theory but I find it rather shocking that a young man who is in very fine health would woke up to COVID-19, as they claimed, a few days after castigating Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is a murderer, a mass murderer, a killer. I hope and pray that their hand is not in it."
IPOB boss, having pointed out how the deceased played very vital role in defending the poor masses and his input in the course to liberate Yoruba Nation from Nigeria's unworkable and unyielding nature, declared that the quest to liberate the poor masses, as fought by Yinka, will continue unhindered until victory is assured, history will forever be kind to Yinka's memory
"And wherever Yinka Odumakin is, I Know that he's in heaven, I know he'll be watching on and asking us to continue what we're doing. And we cannot stop
"Collectively, I can assure him, on behalf of IPOB families all over the world, that this very quest to liberate the poor masses will continue unhindered until victory is assured that we may dedicate it to men like him
"Yinka Odumakin was a fine gentleman, a man of virtue, a man of courage – very rare courage I must say, and valor. May his soul rest in peace" Kanu said
