There are reports that some gunmen attacked Fulani camp in Igga town of Uzo Uwani in Enugu State. There was exchange of gun fire and the Fulani men fled. Their houses and camp was burned. Two indigenes of the town were shot in the legs in the process.

This is coming on the heels of the town complaining of the Fulani men letting their cows graze on their farmlands and harming them. Neighboring towns like Ugbene Ajima, Mkpologwu, Nimbo and others suffer ye same Fulani menace.
The state government has been incapable in solving this problem and easing the losses of the farmers.
