IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu Debunks Purported News By Nigerian DSS Alleging When Biafra Comes, Catholic, Anglican Churches Will Automatically Be Converted To Synagogue Or Judaic Temple
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has reacted to the purported news being peddled by agents of Nigerian DSS, alleging that when Biafra comes, the Universal Catholic Church, Anglican Church will automatically be converted or transformed to Synagogue or Judaic Temple.
Kanu described the allegation as divisive tools usually deployed by Nigerian DSS to curry the peoples' support for Biafra restoration. He stated categorically that nobody has the right to interfere in peoples' mode of worship, making it clear that people are free to worship anything they choose to.
"I also read, of course it's DSS because I defended Mbaka they have to look for a way to try and strike back; You know the way they behave? As idiotic as they are, you know how they behave.
"They said that when Biafra comes every Catholic Church, every Anglican Church will be converted to a Synagogue, or a Judaic Temple. These people (DSS) are fools (Kanu said). They (DSS) are so useless. I have said it time and time again on this platform and in every other place where I have been interrogated on this issue of religion. "
IPOB boss who made this clarification during a radio Biafra broadcast on Monday morning, goes on to say, "And allow me to clarify this thing this morning. I think some of you that know me very well know that I cannot say such a thing. To start with.
"That's is the fulani in their desperation to bring their age-long 'divide and rule'. You Know that is what they do best. They (DSS) will say 'if we can put enmity between them, let us try and lie about Nnamdi Kanu to see if they (Biafrans) will hate him and stop following him'.
"The same thing they did to the people of the so called south south, the same thing they did to those who foolishly refers to themselves as Niger Delta, the same thing they tried to do between Anambra and Imo when the East was there, the same division they bring to Ikwerre that is Igbo, and Igbo land itself, the same thing they try to do with the likes of the great harlot in Abuja, Lauretta Onochie, Anioma and Igbo land, the same thing they tried to do with us and the Igbo people who are in Cross River State , the same thing they tried to do between us and the Igbo people who are in Akwa-Ibom, the same thing they tried to do between us and Igbo people who are in Kogi State;
"They have come again now with Church because they know that some of us ( Biafrans) are very stupid. When it comes to religion all our senses, all our thinking faculty goes to the dust bin
"Allow me to reiterate very categorically and unequivocally this morning that in the land of Biafra, if you want to worship nwa ariri, you know chicks (pikin of chicken), let me put it that way, you are free to do so. You can worship (anything) because nobody can interfere with your mode of who you worship.
"That is why in greatest religion of all time, which is BIAFRA religion, in modern interpretation which is Judaism, they do nothing do preaching, they're don't go on evangelism because it is between you and your God.
"Anything your conscience tells you is what you're going to do and nobody can interfere. That's why in our land, in times gone bye, in various communities or villages depending on their dispositions, they choose to worship whatever deity they want because it's not your business.
"Have you ever heard, in time gone bye, that people from Ibekwu go to a place like Ezinihite Mbaise and tell them that Aguluajiazoala, Chokoleze (their local deity), that they shouldn't worship it anymore. Have you heard of that before? Because nobody can interfere or come between you and your God
"That is why every great religion, infact the greatest religion that you have Biafra religion. You don't go about trying to convert people, no you don't. It is between that person and his God. That is why anything you want to worship now until BIAFRA comes and beyond, you're free to worship."
