IKWERRE /ETCHE PEOPLE'S FORUM HAS ENDORSED THE CANDIDATURE OF SENATOR MAGNUS ABE FOR THE NUMBER ONE SEAT IN RIVERS STATE
Ikwerre / Etche People's Forum endorsed Senator Magnus Abe on 10th of November, 2017 at a joint meeting held by the forum, at PortHarcourt Local Government of Rivers State.
The Ikwerre /Etche People's Forum, comprising of Emohua,, Etche, Ikwerre,Obvious Akpo, Omuma, PortHarcourt., has yesterday in a meeting held on 10th of November, 2017, endorsed the candidature of the distinguished Senator Magnus Ngei Abe to run for the governorship position in the state.
In a communique released on Facebook by one of its active members, the body hinged their support on certain key areas :
1., The fact that the state has to align with the government at the centre
2. The fact that the Ogoni'have not occupied top Government positions like the Governor, deputy, Chief Judge etc
3. The fact that they need to reciprocate the usual support enjoyed from the Ogoni extraction, especially in the election of Governor Chibuike Ameachi.
4. The fact that it is psychologically wrong to betray mutual trust.
5. The fact that Magnus Abe is a viable candidate whose candidature is marketable. As he has demonstrated this several elections..
They however, enjoyed all and sundry in Ikwerre /Etche region and beyond to pledge their unalloyed support for Senator Magnus Abe Come 2019.
