The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has alleged that security challenges in Nigeria will get worst with the Buhari's newly appointed Service Chiefs.

Kanu, who made this statement via his authentic Twitter account on Wednesday, says: "It will surely get worse because your new Service Chiefs will soon prove unwilling & unable to stop BokoHaram, herdsmen & ISWAP while at the same time tolerating the extrajudicial killing of UNARMED activists in the South, especially in Southeast, as in the ongoing #OrluMassacre"

Consequently, a former Managing Director of Nigeria Breweries Plc and past chairman of the National Population Commission, NPC, Festus Odimegwu has warned that what happened in 1967-70 may not happen again because no Igbo or Yoruba soldier in the military setting will obey order to kill their people

“Nigerian army is made up of Nigerians. When they use them to begin to kill people, the Igbo will not agree to kill the Igbo, the Yoruba won’t agree to kill Yoruba. Setting up Nigerians to kill themselves that happened in 1967 to 1970 may not happen again”- Festus Odimegwu said
