The popular Kaduna-based Islamic cleric, Sheikh Gumi has called for the impeachment of president Buhari, saying there's more bloodshed in Buhari regime than Jonathan's administration.
The Islamic cleric explained that one of the major reason he called for Jonathan's resignation in 2015 was because there were many bloodshed with the then president doing little or nothing about it.
Gumi, who pushes the call for Buhari's resignation, on Friday, while addressing newsmen on the spate of insecurity in the country stated, "The major reason I castigated Jonathan's administration is because there was too many bloodshed as a result of Boko Haram terror with Jonathan doing little or nothing.
He added, 'Now, the level of bloodshed in this (Buhari) administration is more compare to former regime. If I can call for Jonathan's resignation on the basis of not being able to secure the people and the country, then I should also be fair enough to call for my brother's (Buhari) resignation.
"If I do that then I would go and apologize to Jonathan whom I castigated. Buhari should be impeached"
