Though Journal Reporters is yet to be briefed fully on the agenda even as conspiracy theories keep emerging alleging the group was inaugurated in view to checkmate activities of Eastern Security Network, ESN, in Onitsha and environ.
Series of photos retrieved and sighted by Journal Reporters shows some number of youths on black top and trousers with inscribed tinted and branded vehicles.
Reacting via a tweet on Sunday evening ESN Commander, Kanu handed out a strain warning to the Traditional leader not to avail his office to ferment trouble in the state by “Fulani terrorists”.
Consequently, he remarkably advised the action may end in tears both for him and the operators if it upsurges issues.
In his words: “Igwe Achebe, the Obi of Onitsha, must not allow his office to be used by Fulani Janjaweed terrorists in Aso Rock to ferment trouble for #ESN around Onitsha and environs, otherwise it will end in tears for him & his local Miyetti Allah funded vigilante named Onitsha Ado”
However, this has raised a controversy amongst Nigerians describing the move as unnecessary. The majority who commented on the development believed the Monarch is wrongly advised.
They urged leaders in the region to concentrate on flushing out common enemies than allowing the enemies to divide.
