Nnamdi Kanu Sends Clear Message To Governor Umahi Following The Killing Of Biafrans In Egedegede Community

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has taunted Engr. Dave Umahi after he (Umahi) has obviously realized that he was unwittingly 'feeding a python destined to eat his household'.

JournalReporters had exclusively reported how Fulani killer herdsmen, on Monday evening, invaded Egedegede community, in Ishielu local government area of Ebonyi State, killing no fewer than twenty-five (25) indigenous residents.

Umahi, who is the executive governor of Ebonyi state, during a visit to the scene Tuesday morning, lamented that the Fulani herdsmen whom he had always protected and abetted their rampaging activities in the Eastern region have betrayed him.

"Also it is very shocking that overnight, all the herdsmen in Ishielu LGA vacated which means that the local herdsmen are part of the conspiracy of the killing of our people.

“They vacated despite all the efforts that my government and the governors of the South-East and security agencies have been making to give them full protection, not only in Ebonyi State but also in the South-East. We feel so sad, so worried for our country Nigeria and we are short of words."_Umahi said

Nonetheless, the Eastern governors including Umahi, had been forewarned severally by IPOB Leader Kanu, to understand, in his term, the danger of "romancing with Fulani janjaweedism" to no avail. Rather they (governors) had continued to defend the hegemonic tendencies of the Fulani herdsmen.

Reacting in a tweet on Wednesday, Kanu cited the story of a Yoruba man, Afonja of Illorin who was the "Are Ona Kakanfo", or chief military leader, of the Oyo Empire and how he unwittingly surrendered his area of control - Illorin, to his Fulani friends because of greed, selfishness and power mongering.

Kanu added that Umahi's latest remorseful mood is, and had always been, the fate of everyone who sabotage his people for selfish interest.

Howbeit, he stated that Eastern Security Network, ESN, will not allow Ebonyi state to suffer same fate as Illorin.

"Afonja said the same thing after he unwittingly & foolishly surrendered Yoruba Illorin Kwara State to his #Fulani friends. Today, Yoruba the true owners of Illorin are effectively Fulani caliphate slaves. #ESN won’t allow Ebonyi go same way.
